Born in Breda in 2006, Hjelte Hoffner is a Dutch-Danish racer with a burning ambition and an unshakable drive. His two-flag emblem — Dutch and Danish — is more than symbolic; it represents his unique identity and international outlook.
While most 18-year-olds are just figuring life out, Hjelte is managing two demanding worlds:
- Professional GT racing across Europe
- Professional Race Coaching
- Business studies at university in Amsterdam, supported by a NOC*NSF top-sport status
But make no mistake — racing is not his side project. It’s his core mission. Everything else fuels it.

The Rise
His racing journey started with MDM Motorsport, one of the Netherlands’ premier GT teams. In just his second year, Hjelte stormed to the top of the BMW M240i Cup, winning 9 out of 12 races in 2024 and setting a historic record for the largest margin in the championship’s history.
That same year, he swept the Dutch Racing Trophy and claimed back-to-back wins in 8-hour endurance events at Zandvoort. The message was clear: Hjelte doesn’t just race. He dominates.
The Next Chapter
In 2025, Hjelte enters the international stage:
- Full season in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy
- Guest drives in Mobil 1 SuperCup – the F1 support series
- Endurance events across Europe including 12H Spa and Mugello
He trains in the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup – one of the most demanding and thrilling machines in the GT world – with guidance from elite figures like Tom Coronel, Dennis & Mark Bus, Loek Hartog and Jaap van Lagen.
